White River Campground: Mount Rainier National Park
Tent Only means that no RVs or camp trailers are permitted at White River Campground, there simply is not the room. White River Campground is located five miles up White River Road from Highway 410 via The White River Entrance on the Chinook Scenic Byway. White River Campground is Mount Rainier National Park's third largest campground with a total of 112 tent only campsites, no RV or trailer sites, and is the closest campground to the Sunrise area. White River Campground is on the rustic side but now offers fresh cold drinking water, flush toilets, picnic tables and firepits.
Description: White River Campground has 112 total campsites (0) RV Non-electric, (0) Standard Non-electric, (112) Tent Only Non-electric sites. There are no electrical, water, or sewer hookups in any of the campgrounds.
Reservations: All campsites are available on a first come, first served basis. Campsites at White River cannot be reserved.

Scheduled Dates: White River Campground is usually open from late June through the end of September. These dates are subject to change depending upon the current snow and road conditions.
