Battle Ground Lake State Park is a Washington State Park campground consisting of 280 acres of beautiful, forests surrounding Battle Ground Lake with walking and hiking trail within the foothills of the Cascade Mountains. To reach Battle Ground Lake State Park from northbound or southbound I-5 you will take exit #11 and drive east to the town of Battle Ground. On the east end of town, turn left on N.E. Grace Ave. Follow the signs to the park, approximately three miles from the city of Battle Ground.

Battle Ground WA is a small community of around 18,500 residents. Every summer the town of Battle Ground puts on their popular Harvest Days celebration. There are a number of community events including parades, street dances, a carnival and chili cook-off. Harvest Days is put on by the Battle Ground Chamber of Commerce around the middle of July each year. The theme for the 2016 Harvest Days was Hometown Celebration.

The Passport to Battle Ground Program is a way for visitors to the area to discover the local economy. It provides a guide to enjoying local wineries, shopping, dining, activities, entertainment, and lodging and provides incentives to encourage exploring the town of Battle Ground plus some other local destinations too. Visitors can enjoy free tastings at each featured winery and a discount at all partner businesses. When they use their passport, they receive a stamp on the page and also on a stamp-page in the back to be turned in for prize drawings after a certain number of stamps are received.. This program is promoted by the Battle Ground Chamber of Commerce.
